What do you guys expect when trying to sell your car to a dealer??! Jokes on you guys for expecting a dealer to give you anything even close to the market value of your cars. Car dealers are here to make money anyway they can... one way is from trade-ins.
Did you guys really expect to get a "good" price quote?

It's always fun to see what they will give you, but seriously a private sale is certainly the way to go especially with this type of vehicle.

If you have the time to try to sell your car outright then yes it's better, for some that isn't the case. Also, when trading you car in, you don't have to pay taxes on the money they give you, so you make out there. Is 19.5K way to low yes, but dealers are here to make money not give cars away.

one thing to consider also, why shoudl he waste time on the phone appraising a car that isn't even there.. or even worse, when you're not buying anything there.
19500 is pretty rediculously low tho

so seriously.......do i act like i might just pick up a second car?.....when they ask if i'm going to trade in, do i say maybe i will and maybe won't....
reason i ask is that wouldn't that affect your credit pretty heavy?.......unless your income is sky high, banks don't want to loan you 30k as badly on a car when you still owe 20 k on annother.....
i'm not questioning, i just want to know the killer neg skills for when i trade in my car, as i allways seem to do in the end anways....
