Wierd Sound

I did a search, but could not find much info on my situation.
I recently installed a HKS RS intake on my IX. I have the stock DV and a Greddy Ti-C catback. Well after the intake install, I can hear a sound that comes out of the exhaust, with throttle lift under low boost. I can hear the DV "sneeze" and a sound like WHOOT, (like a quick blow through a straw) out the exhaust at the same time. WOT or high boost, no problem. Compressor surge?

can I laugh some more? An open intake will let you hear your DV valve 'sneezing.'
If you don't like it put back your stock intake box.

In defense of the OP the first time I put an intake any car I thought I had done something wrong! LOL No worries the bro. Even if you had just put an open air filter on the stock intake tube you would have heard the Diverter Valve more much more pronounced. Unless you have done something wrong with your install then it is probably just the normal change that you get from the filter/ intake install.

Ok, thank you for the ones who actually gave a reasonable comment. To the others, it's whatever.........
I know about DV's and BOV's and how they work. I have been around turbos and superchargers quite a bit. I have owned some turbos that would surprise you, so on that note, the sound should not be coming out of the exhaust, VS the DV.......
Thanks for the help anyways.......Moving on.

Yeah, an open air filter on a turbo really brings out all of the noises that you don't really hear stock. I really dig it personally but every now and then I'll hear a noise and be like "whoa...was that normal?". But it is.
