Gas Mileage difference with 20% ethanol added
Has anyone noticed a difference in their gas mileage using gas with ethanol added. The station I've used in dallas for the past 6 mos or so has 20 % ethanol added to their gas. I didn't think much about it until I filled up at another gas station that only uses "up to10% ethanol". Maybe I just haven't paid much attention, but I don't remember when my usual station switched to the 20 % blend. It could be all in my head but it seems I'm getting worse gas mileage than usual. I haven't made it through the tank of 10% ethanol yet so I'm not sure if the MPG will be better. Are there any gas stations not using any ethanol in the Dallas area? Anyone else noticed a difference or noticed a change in your car using gas/ethanol mix?

I have not check about gas mileage, but on my truck my check engine light came on recently when they switched to summer gas. I have not checked the codes yet but i wonder if the mix is causing the check engine light.

sorry mate i've only used 5%eth so far on my evo. still looking to see if there is a definate yes that i can use 10%eth +. so far i havent notice any major fuel consumption. even with 10%eth on my skyline i didnt notice much change, maybe slightly less but really hard to tell since my kms vary between 450-500km on a full 65lt tank.
