I got a hybrid evo I guess.. If I got less than 200 miles with 14 gallons of gas, I would trade the car in for a 4x4 v10 truck and enjoy the fuel savings.

Hmm..it's hard for me to believe you guys are getting such poor gas consumption.
I get around 240-280 miles on a tank with a bit of spirited driving.
If I am mostly cruising on the highway, I get around 280-300 miles on a tank.

I get fairly good gas miles considering a AMS 2.3, AMS Race Head w/1mm oversied valves, JUN 272's and a AMS 37r turbo kit the works... Still tuning it but it's running a bit fat in boost still.
Have to much fun so I have not specifically tried to get good gas miles yet and I only got about 3500 miles on the engine, but I've already broke 220 miles on one tank of gas with various "spirited" driving

Some people don't seem to realize that
A. Flogging an Evo *will* make it slurp gas. At the track, an Evo will get ~4mpg.
B. You don't have to beat the hell out of the Evo all the time to enjoy it.
C. There's no need to light up the tires at the lights, or coming out of a turn, when daily driving.
D. The "empty" light comes on when you have roughl 2.5gallons left in the tank (per my measurements). Meaning you're not empty when it come son (duh).
E. It's winter now - if you're in a cold winter region, you're most likely filling up on crap winter gas, premium or not. Expect poorer mpg's.
When I first got the car I averaged 22-23mpg, that was 80/20 city/highway. Now I am averaging a steady 19mpg.

I agree with noob4life!
Take the lead out of the shoe and drive like a normal person and you will see the gas mileage increase.....Why people think when you own a decent car that you have to drive like an a**hole is beyond me.

Hey guys and gals,
I've attached a photo of how I setup excel to track my fuel info. Might come in handy.
Here's what mine looks like after my first 3 fill-ups, and the only thing I have done is the AMS baseflash.
But for those of you who don't care to look...I get an average of about 19 mpg with 50/50 highway/city driving.

i get around 300 miles at full capacity...i usually fill up at a quarter tank though, which is around 240-250 miles, but most of my commute is done on the highway (122 miles roundtrip, to and from work)
