not an average of what I get on a daily basis..but my friend and I did some calculations when were drove the evos from Reno to Phoenix. @ 2.1deg neg camber on mine I got a best of 31 mpg. My friend @ .5 deg of camber got a best of 32.5 mpg. that was the best we got but it all went down the crapper when the AC went on.

EVO Gas Mileage Merge
Did a search and I was suprised that no one had made a poll yet. (Unless I'm blind)
I'm just kind of curious since gas prices around here are $4.20 - $4.25 per gallon over here for 93 Chevron/Shell. (As of 16 July 2008)
But what is your Evo's MPG? Daily Driving? We all know when we romp our cars we get like below 10 MPG. (LOL)

I just drove to Las Vegas and Back I have a EvoGreen 2.0 Bushcur stage 4 but I have replaced the 780cc injectors with the stock injectors.
Mileage on highway down before the dyno tune at Dougs Dyno Power was 28 mpg with average speed of 74 miles per hour I stopped once for fuel. Reno to Vegas is about 450 miles.
After the retune with the new injectors I got 33 miles per gallon on the return trip with average speed of 75. I drove behind a mad man in a truck in many straights we were doing 90 mph. I stayed off the boost as much as possible when not sprinting.
If you treat the off boost performance in the tune as a mileage tune, then as you move up the boost positive zone tune for performance you can do pretty well tuning.
How many sub 12 second cars on the road that can go fast and then cruise home get 30 mpg.
My in town mileage at 4200 feet is 26 mph

Just got a tune from DynoFlash and new NGK copper plugs, mileage went down from 18mpg to ~17.5 - did anybody else experience the same thing? I'm seeing some incredible Civic-like MPG here, and just wonder how do people get that.....

Evo's need to be driven
Guys, I want to share an experience I had. I own a 2006 Evo MR with very tiny mods. I used to be obsessed with my gas mileage. For a period of about 6 months, I kept the revs at 2K or less. I always used the highest gear possible, and I stayed off the boost. The best mileage I got was 27.6mpg on a trip to Seattle. But then my engine started losing power, stalling, etc. I took it in to the dealer for service, and was told by a trusted mechanic that driving the car like a grandma really screwed it up. It caused all kinds of carbon buildup, and the car wasn't designed to be driven that way. So I needed to open her up more, cruise at 3k-4k rpms, and just enjoy the car. Either I pay with poor gas mileage, or I eventually pay for service and repairs. I decided to follow his advice, and the thing's been running great ever since. So the moral of the story is, just drive your Evo like an Evo.

im getting like 220 to a full tank!? im nowhere near you guys. ive got a forge bov that seems to leak at normal driving. that could be part of it. and an egr that throws a code every day. wonder if those are causing it. i need to get to that mid 20's mpg. im at the pump every day or so
