What's wrong with making sure something isn't wrong with your car? If you break down the numbers we should be capable of about 250(city)-360(hwy) miles on a full tank of gas. Of course all with sane driving. I'm quite sure that whatever you buy you want to be sure it somewhat matches the numbers or specs that are advertised. This wasn't meant to be disrespectful so please don't take it that way........

I step on it hard I drive to 6500 rpms at least once a day so I know I am paying for the fun. Keep in mind it is a small tank 14gal. so at least fill ups wont be so bad on the wallet like the poor suckers that have SUV's.

just a note... if you leave the car in gear upon deceleration it should turn off the injectors to save gas... at least that is what nissan does. i would expect it for most new cars to. the reason for this is due to the engaged transmission the motor does not need fuel to turn... so they turn off the injectors to save gas.

another recomendation is hold your gears longer and stay outa boost. this is a dual overhead cam but it has no variable timing meaning you cannot "lengthen" the powerband. what happens is alot of people will push the gas to much so they are just dumping fuel in there while there is not enough momentum to get the car going under that load. example. when you are driving a NA car(as turbo cannot be used for this refernce but same rules apply)and take a turn and push on the gas in 3rd at 1500 rpm at 30 mph you are not going to pick up quick. once you get into the powerband you car will move move quickly and more accelaration will be felt. kinda like a small amount of boost kicking in. however all that is happening is the motor is now working where it is "happy". so just try to keep your rpms in the powerband(except when launching... no need to put extra wear on the clutch) with out boosting and see if there is a difference in gas mileage.

just stop spooling up ur damn turbo.. i know the kick in at 3500rpm is intoxicating but to save soem gas, shift at 3k.. I been doing that forever now shifting right at 3k. and it seems to me most cars will pass me up.. Evo just dont' have good power before 3k

Taiwan: You have full boost at 3k. The way to stay out of boost is to keep the throttle plate as closed as possible.

I get about 260-280 to a tank. I don't think I've ever pushed over 300 miles on one tank, though I probably could have. One highway driving trip left me at like 180 miles with "1/2" tank left, but the other half got eaten up quickly at an AutoX the next day.

Man, I am getting 200 per tank now.........I dunno why.......And it is very hard to stay under boost because 3k is reached really fast. Aren't our cars suppose to start boost at 3.5k?

Anyways, is there something wrong with my car or what? Should I take it to the dealer? Or are you guys having same problem as me?

Boost is load dependent. You can take it to 6K without spooling up the turbo much and you can get to 19lbs by 3.5K by flooring it. It's all about how fast/far you press the throttle.
