i use cali 91 oct **** gas. I drive a lot, and I mean a lot during the week. When I fill up, usually 10.5 to 11 gallons, I have driven around 280 to 290 miles.

i'm starting to think I need to get a boost gauge fast, because with city driving, i barely get 180-200 miles to the tank, and I'm due for a refill tomm. . . .I'm constantly on the orgasm pedal though, boosting like there isn't a tomm, but thinking I'm not going beyond 10psi. . .clearly, I suck at gauging my own boost
I've got a trip to Dallas this weekend, looking forward to see what I average on the 500 mile turn around. . . If I can stay out of boost, I want a solid 30mpg. . .yes, I will beat EPA.

awesome! another excuse to get cams! ^^ a boost gauge really does help, or at least for me it did. I try to keep it below 5 or 7psi on my normal daily drives. it's much easier than guessing!!

Honestly on the drive up to orlando to get my cams installed by turbotrix when they came to florida I got 21MPG on the way up. After my cams and my tune I got 27miles on the way home on the highway with my windows down. With some spirited 100+MPH runs testing the cams.

The reflash leans out the a/f a bit I imagine and since you're staying out off the turbo I could see it happening. What I can understand is how the other guy got 150mpg lol. Driving like an *** I still got 200 miles out of 12.25 gallons using 91 octane.

Shut your mouth!! I converted to, and I aint going back. There is more to happiness than gas mileage. The worst I have gotten was a whopping 12mpg, the best, 24mpg. I just changed the oil for the first time though, so we will see.

Well, I get 330-370 miles per tank depending on how I drive. I'm always in the boost because it's like crack! I have 98K miles on my EVO so I'm sure that is why the great mileage. I still have not tuned the ECU so better mileage may be possible.

Thats amazing but I dont see how that is possible. I am rarely in boost and I am fully tuned. I would never see that much out of my tank full of gas. Great Job on the fuel economy man!!

If this is true, I KNOW what my next mod is !! Seriously though, I've always gotten pretty good gas mileage. I think it's all in how you drive as well as the mods.
