THat's what everyone else say until they get screw over by a dealer Some stock evo owners even got screwed don't know what customer service means .....

Good luck to all and looks like gas price went down but half of what it went up to

I get about 230-250 out of a tank in town and over 300 on the highway. My last trip I averaged 25mpg with the first 1/4 tank done in the city and the rest on the highway. VERY little boost to achieve those numbers and shifting between 2500 and 3500 rpm. Cruise on the highway was between 70 and 80mph. I'm sure cruise control would further improve mileage as I constantly found myself bumping up against 80mph when I wasn't paying attention. Car has under 2K miles on it currently so I suspect mileage will go up. Hoping, anyway!

Well I do a lot of highway driving and I've seen some days where the EVO just guzzles the gas and some days where it just sips it. My driving style is pretty consistant on the highway too, I only spend about 1% of the time in boost.

I will get anywhere between 280-320 before I need to fill up. Oh yeah my car is stock with the exception of a K&N panel filter and MBC.

Haha yeah we only have 91, but whatever. I've lived here most of my life, can't really imagine living anywhere else.

Just curious, I've lived in California all my life. Sometimes I think a change
might be good. My wife and I talk about moving sometimes, we just don't
know where.

Yes our 91 gas and California emissions are the worst.

At least the weather is good. lol

I took a road trip to tally this weekend and I averaged about 26-27MPG on the highway, doing about 75-80 out of boost. Hopefully with some cams and a utec i'd make a sick economy tune and get 30 somthing MPG

It appears what hurts the mileage the most is keeping it stock.

At least, that's what I'm going to tell my wife. "Honey, I have to mod it, without a Dynoflash, intake, and TBE, I'm just throwing money down the drain!"
