Does anyone get 30mpg or better in their EVO?

I have a stock EVO that I baby as much as possible. I always run the good gas, I have a very mild alignement, and I keep my tires inflated to 48psi. I still cannot seem to get 30mpg out of the car. My best to date is 28mpg. I think cruise control would help but that would be a PITA to hook up.

Do you have any tips or tricks for better highway mileage?
Would a flash help partial throttle mileage related performance?

Thanks in advance.

buy a prius?

leaning out the fuel tables would help tremendously. i don't know if any of the ecu flashes offer partial throttle fuel adjustments though. usually it is done at WOT only, and they just fiddle with that MAP range. can it be done though? certainly

and holy jesus!!! 48 psi in your tires for street driving??? are you insane?

I think your tires are only rated for 44 psi.

I own an evo because its a sexy car.

Weight reduction would probably help but I'm not willing to do that. I already draft other vehicles whenever possible.

More suggestions please.
