My Camera Mount Solution...Vids included

Did not want to permanentely mount anything nor have to invest a lot of time engineering something. While at Radioshack I came across these Targus Grypton Tripods that worked very well for my trip:

http://www.radioshack.com/family/ind...032055.2032127

I used the small sized one and wrapped it around one of the two holes in the Racaro Driver's Seat. I them used a small bungee cord to secure the mount for when driving aggressively. It support my Canon SD600 digital camera just fine.

Here are the videos I shot w/ the camera:

And here is my post detailing my entire trip to the Ozarks and deal's Gap w/ Pics and Vids:

The mount was cheap, easy and not permanent...worked well for me!

or for 25$ you could buy the buschur camera mount which screws on to the child seat restraint.

The Buscher mount is Pretty nice, and while not permanent, it does take more effort to put it in and take it out of the car. Also, you would need a remote control to control the camera back there whereas I only had a regular digital camera and no remote control so the buscher mount would of placed the camera too far away to turn off and on from the driver's seat.

FYI: These tripods go by many names and are available at nearly every big box electronics store. If you look hard enough, you can find them even cheaper online (from china of course)

Good deal binary...like I said I saw it in radioshack by chance and went for it.

4g63smokinall4s- yes the camera getting the petrified look of my GF's face a little bit would of been more entertaining and pleasing to the eye than my bald head leaning into turns thinking I'm still on my motorcycle. I will consider it in the future.
