turbo timer recomendation

turbo timer recomendation

I am in the market for a very basic turbo timer. I dont need any fancy features, I just want it to keep my car on for a period of time once I remove the key. The only requirements I have are, easy install, blue lighting to match gauges, and not cheesy looking. Any recommendations? I am currently looking at hks type1, greddy, and apexi.

i have the greddy, works great! got the plug and play harness for it from lancershop.com, probably as simple of an install as you can get.

Apexi. As simple as they get. Very compact.

The Greddy wiring instructions are wrong on the last one I installed.

surprised no one said "don't waste your money" yet... ok i'll be the first

don't waste your money.

unless you are boosting then immediately turning the car off (if you are doing this i want to shake your hand) then a turbo timer is not needed. i have owned 3 turbo cars and never used a turbo timer in my life. never had any turbocharger issues.

^Word up! Don't waste your money people. With the design of turbos and cooling them these days, timers are def. not needed. I mean, if you want a cool looking gadget it your cabin then by all means.
