Also, try not to use paper based products on paint....even when wet.

thanks.....god damn it I wish I knew b4

I'm pretty sure I read that mitsu used a thin layer of paint to save weight as well as the thin glass for the windows and the light weight front end. All done by design.

I picked up the car yesterday and after wiping off the tire shine that had splashed on the paint (while driving).....it left little pale yellow spots that I can't get off.

Tried Meguiar's cleaner wax and Turtle Wax bug/tar remover and no luck.

Its rather f*ing annoying, anybody have a different solution (not bodyshop related)?

Logical yes. take a basic paint job the body shop uses prob a 1/4 gallon to shoot the car right. Well a good paint job like the one I did on my CIvic was a 6 coat witch was a full gallon of paint sprayed on it and 3 coats of clear. Go lift a gallon of paint and tell me it dont weigh nothing

As for bird hsit eating up paint. Im a detailer been doing it for a wile and let me tell u no matter how good the paint if a bird ****s on your car and u dont clean it off ASAP or it sits in the sun for a few hours it burns the paint and yoru ****ed. We just had a brand new BMW 745 IS have this prob we buffed and tried hard as we could to fix it but no dice it was gone he had to repaint it.

Im going to detail and seal the paint on my one week 6 day old EVO and do a whole bio ad pic how to deal so look for it next week prob SUN or MON night. Best advice I can give is park in shade so if **** does hit the car it wont burn as fast and dont park upnder bird perched trees or light poles I have to clean my moms car every day casue of the damn birds on the light pole. I think its time to get a air gun and drop those ****s.
