I love my reflash - no detonation, 30hp on the dyno, better mileage. What more do I want?

Good point! But for my application - its essential that I have both as I do not have in house re-flash capabilities - I do like the ability to alter the boost cut and the rpm limit - the rev limit modification in particular has been very helpful.

No doubt that a piggy back is sufficient to tune ANY evo up to 450 whp at least (and maybe more - more on that at 5) Also - it seems like the EVO cpu is particularly "piggy back compatable" in that what ever tune I set stays very constant for a long time and also in that I am able to dial in the car very well with the piggy back

With that said - assuming that the re-flash systems are functional and work as advertized then it seems more logical to alter the maps right in the ecu and avoid complication. If the re-flash works it seems like an ideal arrangement. As far as boost control I dont know if that is adjustable with a re-flash - BUT - its not relevant to me anyway as I like to have a boost controller

In conclusion - I am sure that you as a vendor of both formats of tuning will soon be advising the evo community what the advantages / disatvatages are with both these systems - from your perspective
