You may be able to break it loose with a chisel and hammer, but probably not. Either way, it needs to be replaced. Go to kmart or sears and see if craftsman makes an easy out that size--only 23 ft/lbs next time!

It will make the drinks taste better lol. You could try vise grips, or a smaller socket.

i actually had a torque wrench but i borrowed one from autozone cuz i didnt feel like buying one and they gave me like a huge 3 foot wrench so the jack i had didnt give me enough leverage to work with it so i had to use ****ty wrenchs and sockets and ratchets blah!! and it didnt help that the bolt was practically rounded at the top.

and yes it seemed like the smart thing to take the fill plug off but i completely forgot so o well a lesson learned. tomorrow taking off the fill plug will be the first thing i do

actually maybe im the idiot now haha. I forgot to take off the metal shavings off the drain plug. I was so frustrated about the stupid fill plug that i forgot to clean the drain plug. You think it would be fine? I honestly dont remember even seeing any metal shavings on the drain plug. Would i be fine this one time without doing ti?

most likely you'll be fine but there's usually a lot of shavings...

yea man i completely just forgot. I took it off and put it aside and when i finally got the damn fill plug off i just hurried and put the drain plug on so i could pump the oil and be finished. I didnt really take a good look at it but who knows maybe there was a lot of shavings. But i really dont want to ahve to go trhough the whole mess of draining the oil again and pumping it again just to take off some metal shavings unless its an absolute mush
