Unhappy Anyone else have a right foot problem in EVO?

Ok, now that my ECU has fully learn my right foot is in controll, it's not holding back.

I love hitting BOOST...my right foot does not want the car to get out boost mode, is there a cure to this illness? It's killing me in gas milage specially when i'm mixing Seventy-Six 100 octane w/ 91. But it's out of mine control, i take the long way home just to hit 100mph when no car is around. The pull is too addicting is let off, i'm affraid my license is gonna get suppended if i ever get caught. DOes anyone else have this problem?

P.S. on my previous WRX, it wasn't like this. I hit 100+ less than 5 times on that car and i own this for 8 months. I've hit 100+ twice already and i just broke the car in last week.

Please no flaming, the turbo's heat is hot enough for me. I don't have a flame suit on. I only speed when either no car of 1 or 2 cars around.

Oh ****...too much adrenaline from boost...EDIT

If you mean that you have a RIGHT foot problem, then yes. I don't tend to speed too much, but I find it hard not to go through the gears on the way up to the speed limit. Boost is deffinately addictive!

i sort of have that problem. i always tell myself to take it easy and just cruise, but then my other self tells me to jam on that gas and red-line this bad boy. goin on an on-ramp or even an off-ramp, i would pretty much take it full throttle. bad habit i need to cut down, especially with the gas price going up.

My insurance premium just dropped a 1000 bucks this year.
I've been trying to use that as motivation to keep my speed low..

but I agree....DAMN addicting it is!

It usually only takes me 2 gears and 19psi to get to my local speed limit (60). Unless I'm going down any of the numerous long, strait, back roads around here. Then my cruising speed is usually 75-80. Interstate speeds tend to take me anywhere between 80-100, back and forth, frequently. Rolling on the boost in 5th is lots of fun.

Of course, none of this happens after you hit a Durango...
