na, I used to be 5 years ago but I hate CSR meets more than anything in the world. Just a bunch of fat **** talkers who don't build cars but say that they're "gonna do", or how ****ty other cars are. So, I just actually drive them and stay away from that crowd.

I am on SWOV though(southwest ohio volkswagens).

It all depends how it was driven. I have heard of 2k 1k 10k and 20k. I bought my car brand new in 04 and it now has 97k on STOCK CLUTCH. Mainly because I don't abuse it. There is a fine line between driving hard and abusive, so learn where thats at and don't cross it and you'll be fine.

I just hope that learning that doesn't involve crossing it. that'd suck.

Yea the car scene around here is kinda weak... CSS is a little bit better than CSR, but most of the ppl on there are still d!ck$ that will never get past being forum warriors.

I did 7000 miles on my clutch. I blew off the LICP and still had the under cover on the car. So I limped it a few miles back home, which pretty much murdered the clutch. I've seen people pushing 400whp on the stock clutch, it just depends on how you drive it.

I am by no means an expert with the evo clutch but two step it and launch it hard without slipping it (almost dump the clutch). You have a restrictor pill on your IX so it will only come out so fast.

You will get a consistent launch with not much slipping. If you launch the car without using the 2-step the pill will mess you up and you will smoke that clutch.

I can say without a doubt that with the pill in the 2 step is the only way to launch unless you like the smell of burnt clutch. I now have approximately 50 no stink launches on my car and its still feels very good with 10K miles.

Good question about a stock clutch? Mine used to grab close to the firewall, now it grabs way up towards the top right before the clutch is fully out. Is it going bye bye soon?

i dont think that has to do with how much is left on the clutch, you probably just need to adjust it

I'd recomend removing the restrictor pill from the slave cylinder. This pill limits the clutch fluid flow & can cause the clutch to slip more than you want when driving / shifting hard.

375whp and 55k miles on the stock clutch. It's all about how you drive it- if you treat it hard, it'll repay the favor.

i like that "spirited driving", same here but no launching about 21k about 340awhp and still grabbing well.
