I can officialy say that this tank of gas was the most boring time that I used my evo, even old ladies were passing me, I'm very **** when it comes to stuff like this, I will not abuse my evo with regular gas. I drove yesterday up and down my local highway to get rid. of that ****ty gas.
I ended up getting exactly 282 miles to the tank, that's when the light came on, probably could. of got 300.
After I filled her up now with 93, she felt like her old self.

You shouldn't have felt a difference at all. You're saying you felt your car perform better going from an overall tank of 91 to 93?

Keep in mind the whole tank, I never went over 3500rpm.
That's why I said that, I never pushed her past 3500rpm with that tank of gas.
It took me two weeks.

Someones being overly cautious :]. I think even 89 on a stock tune the car shouldn't knock at all.

To the OP - use some octane booster to be safe.

If a station has pumps with only one nozzle, I drive around to find the pump that was dispensing 91 octane (highest in CA) before I got there. I'm paranoid because some fuel always stays in the hose. I don't even want a splash of lower octane fuel in my tank.

I do it now what I have a bunch of HP but I used to do this when my Evo was stock as well.
Wow.

Just wow.

A splash of 87 in a tankful of premium isn't going to do **** all.

Well at Least it wasnt Diesel.... Thats a Great Time........ I was in a Forgien Country running around in "Up Armoured" Vehicles and we were running low on Fuel outside a Primarily Muslim region we stopped at a small station after the kid Pumped 2 dollars worth of gasoline into our Diesel Toyota Hilux I got out and said fill it up!!!! He looked at me like I was going to kill him. 2 Hours later we had the tank dropped and the fuel out. Im glad he stopped or we would have had some issues in a bad area at dark.... Got to meet the Shiek of the town that was pretty nice to us Actually.

Its a Law in New Jersey they have to Pump Your Gas........ Its so they can have jobs for Worthless people, they have it out here in Guam at the Shell Stations also.... Very Annoying... Dont Touch my Car with your Mitts.

In NJ, its illegal to pump your own gas. It MUST be done by an attendant.

if you are tuned, try not to get on it, it's not going to do harm to the motor if you don't get on it. you can try to log your car to see if you see any knock counts. it's going to take few fill up before the whole tank to be 93 octane again (I doubt most of 93 octane fuel are really 93 octane)
