The mitsubshi dealer near me is a really good place, they replace the carpet and my floor mat o my drive side, and sealed up the loose wires.

It hasn't happened since.

Good luck
I took it to the dealership today and this is what it turned out being. Only it was because the shop that installed my boost gauge (which shall remain nameless for now, until I see how they rectify this) didn't wire it properly and reset the gromlet. So they told me they can't fix it under warranty, which I totally understand.

I'm going to contact the shop and have them reinstall the boost gauge. If I want to be an *** about it, I guess I could try arguing that they should pay to replace my carpet, but is that necessary? Shouldn't it be good as new after drying?
