Carpet soaked, WTF?
#16
I would look into the fenderwell wires. I had the exact same problems 2 weeks after i bought my evo brand new. I took it to the dealer and they looked at it and found that the gromlet was loostand allowed water to get through, and at the time that it happened it didn't even rain very much. The mitsubshi dealer near me is a really good place, they replace the carpet and my floor mat o my drive side, and sealed up the loose wires.
It hasn't happened since.
Good luck

I'm going to contact the shop and have them reinstall the boost gauge. If I want to be an *** about it, I guess I could try arguing that they should pay to replace my carpet, but is that necessary? Shouldn't it be good as new after drying?
