Snow tires in the winter (they're required by law in Slovenia for all cars) and there's nothing like snow and an evo ! Pure love!

Somehow I survived my first winter in the evo with the stock advans, but like everyone else says, BAD IDEA. Drifting was fun and I had my share of doing continuous figure eights around lamp posts, but when you're struggling to brake at stop signs and red lights, you realize how much danger you can put yourself in.

Second winter last year I got bridgestone blizzaks, and wow what control and stability this car has. And if you're skeptical or really don't know how ACD feels, try cornering in Tarmac then Snow mode in the snow.

Kumhos ASX are awesome in the snow like others have said. My Brother with a IX and bald stock advans got stuck in one of the turns on the MTN roads to Big Bear last winter (I know I couldn't believe it too, AWD!). He was going kinda slow and the right wheels got into a small ditch. But I was having a blast. Best drive I ever took.

Taking an Evo to the snow? Is that like taking a girl to a show? "Here Evo, look, it's snow. There you saw it, now can we go home?"

Assuming you mean how do they drive in the snow... As long as you don't have pure summer tires on they are great! As great as you would expect a 4 door AWD family rally sedan to perform.

I wish it snowed more than maybe once a year here. Its snowed once since I've had my evo and it was the best couple of days I've had with her.

LOL^ sick pics man. i was about to look for some of those and post em. Evo's r funner than any other car i have been in, in the snow. traction with snow tires is amazing and yet all u gotta do is hit a few lbs of boost and u r drifting around corners.

I'm glad to see another daily-driven dirty Evo in the winter. I'm not the only one that likes to just have fun driving the car, and not always worrying about keeping it spotless.

BTW, I just bought some new Kuhmo all-seasons.

Hercules "avalanche" tires are so so nice to have in the snow. I always look forward to the snow with those babies. They are made by a Canada company. and we all know how much snow those guys get.

i think everyone needs to take a winter driving course - and the Team O-neil facility was absolutely awesome. i think the second day - i was the only person to drift the entire skidpad for a full rotation ( i went around 4 times) looks like all the parking lot snow donuts paid off.
