I remember you.
Anyway thanks for the write up. I am selling my evo to get a 2009 or 2010 year model.
So how does the paint and overall quality of the car feel.
I drove a a 09 gts with the automatic and paddle. I know its not the evo or r35 but god damn I love this style trans. Maybe I am just sick of standards. Driving truck for 11 years, and have had 3 dsms and 2 evos.
What do you average for mpg. Odd question. But I am a stickler for tons of power with high mpg. I want everything.
Interested in leds for cheap in exchange for your help with r-d. F so pm me.
Thanks man.

Actually more like a ZX-6 to an ZX-10. You can pin the throttle on the ZX-6 coming out of corners and on the straights so you can focus on turning and braking. On the 10, you have to add the third element of throttle control because you're in constant fear of highsiding. Constant throttle control is a by product of big power but isn't fun. Don't get me wrong, the GTR is great and the reviews are spot on. Problem is, they're usually testing this car on big race tracks.
When I had my evo, every side road was a rally course, winding onramps, dirt roads, snow, rain, it was just good fun. Given the price of the GTR, it's size, having to go way fast to have fun (it's so composed), and of course the fear of speeding tickets or worse, crashing, I'm just not having as much fun driving it around. If you're into stoplight drags, car meets, 2n'd and 3rd gear pulls with other cars, this is THE must have car. Otherwise it's just overkill for the street.
I just need to break it in and do trackdays already

I was REALLY looking at a GTR hard as of late... however, now I'm thinking that my 03' Evo still puts a smile on my face EVERY day. Maybe I'll wait a while for the GTR, or just dump more money into the Evo I already love so much. Of course just looking at the GTR makes me smile...
Thanks for the review!

That's a good looking X. Stock for stock the X doesn't look like it deserves to be next to the GTR. But a little dressed up, they go together pretty nicely

Awesome pics from the two cars, to the OP this guy^^^^ is right if you liked the evo so much get another one, if you can, and relieve your glory moments with the evo. But of course keep the GTR, one of the sexiest cars ever to be made.
