iPhone Apps For Your Evo
Well I've been messing around with this application called Dynolicious. It's actually really accurate (read reviews). You can find more information about it here:
www.dynolicious.com
But while browsing through the app store last night, I noticed a new app called Rev. It's a little different from Dynolicious and has a lot of features. Check it out here:

Pretty soon we can tune our cars with a iPhone

Rev seems less interesting. The fact that it requires hardware to hook up to the OBD2 port makes me have even less interested. I'll stick to Mitsulogger/Evoscan+laptop solution for now.
And tuning on an iPhone? are you kidding me? it is hard enough to bang out an email on this stupid thing, let alone tune! The fact that the iPhone doesn't really have a filesystem would make managing XML files and ROMS a nightmare. Again, laptop FTW.

Dynolicious is OK. I don't think it was worth the $13 I paid for it, but interesting in concept alone, and pretty accurate. Didn't get the chance to run it at the track this weekend to compare with an actual timeslip. Would be nice if it used GPS as a frame of reference.

The screen is small, though.

the Dynolicious is really a nice app. only catch is that it MUST be mounted on a sturdy surface otherwise its not accurate at all.
i find it really hard to calibrate it when inside the car cause the vibration, its easier if you do it outside on the floor so you can hold it steady.
other than that its really accurate and i playing around to see how much g's my mr2 can pull by corner and so far the highest i got was 1.23g
