Too Long.....it's a never ending thing.....keeps going!!!
Maybe when the evo hits 300k and/or when it blows up, then i will end it there. THEN buy another EVO and keep going!

Jst spent $4300 in the last 3 months from modding and fixing miscelanous things... after my tune I'm done... Lol till next summer.
The modding bug never ends. Jst depends on how big your wallet is and where your car lies in your top priorities

I am happy with my evo but all I wanted was a fun daily driver with 400 whp. It took me less than one year to get me to that point.

Well today I am selling my Evo VIII. I figured this would be a good time to say it took me exactly 14 months to get it where I wanted it. Selling it makes it kinda final in modding doesn't it

... I'm actually getting an Evo X MR, but I don't plan on modding it much. An English Racing dyno tune, maybe an intake and we'll call it good.

2 months in.....I'm one CBRD Blue or FP RED equivalent away from being done with power output (after tuning)....Carbon fiber hood, rexpspeed carbon fiber side and rear skirt and a carbon fiber trunk.....then I'll be done.....I may by Brides and recover the seats in Bride seat material. This will all happen next year. Then I'll be done because I'm not spending 15k for 800 hp.......of course i say that now.

the thing about modding is there always going to be new parts etc that come out that are bigger better badder. Not to mention high dollar parts built shortblock etc that people that are doing parts out sell for a reasonable or crackhead price.Thats why modding is a never ending process. Just think back in 03 when the evo premiered there was no fp RED(500whp potential) so user that got 50 trim 30r turbos are like wow i could go that route and new comers to the game can save money instead of buying a 4000 kit. so parts get better more effectent etc. the only way you really finish modding is selling the car wrecking the car persay or just dont want to put any more cash into it cause your happy with the looks and power bandwith at that moment in time.
