Evo in Autoweek this week...
This is one of the most complimentary articles I have read yet of the Evo. It is in the Sept 1 issue of Autoweek...I will give a few quotes:
In a joking manner about us not getting the Evo til generation 8: "We wouldn't be suggesting a class-action lawsuit except that this car is so good, we can only assume earlier iterations were equally impressive."
"The Evo may not get there as quickly, but once it is rolling it is more than a match for its Subie challenger (STI)--and any others that might try to hang with it through a slalom."
"Our test car posted an AutoWeek record 48.1mph through our eight-cone, 490-foot slalom course. The Evo also posted an Autoweek-record-breaking mark, coming to a screeching 60-0 halt in just 100 feet!"
"Mitsubishi should rename this car the Essence. It embodies all the reasons a true enthusiast buys a performance car."

Cool...if you can't find it, let me know and I will see about scanning the article and pasting it in the thread...dont know how legal that is though...
