The 05 VIII production dates were started Oct 04 and ran about a year (I am not 100% sure on when IX were released) So those number are more realistic.

How did you come up with that number?
Unless you have a good source or its based off data, it can be dangerous to start throwing around production numbers. Before you know it, there will be stated as fact. I have seen quite a few myth's that just won't go away (even after years of correcting) because someone guess is wrong.

Even being 1 out of 6160 is amazing. Somehow though I figured the numbers would be higher.
I wounder how many 2003 evos are left road worthy (not totaled or track cars)?
No wonder there is only one other 8 in my area. There used to be a 9 but have not seen it in years nor the 10. There are a few 10's that roll in from time to time but not from this area.

Strictly in my area I have only seen one Evo (only on the highway, not sure if it's an 8 or 9), and it was GG. In the Orlando area I think I only remember seeing 2 (one being GG and EB) at least I think lol. I know there are more, they must be hiding.. A fair amount more Subby's in my area though, still not many STi's.. Guess there aren't enough "hills" here in Florida lol.

^ This, I plan on picking up an 05 Evo in the near future and would desire an SSL otherwise an MR.
Edit: Don't know what it is, but I like having a moonroof on my cars even though I hate convertables lol.

These came from a book I have on the history of the Evo. This is from a post I made back in
'07 on the topic.
2004 imports to the states--from Oct 2003- Sept 2004 ( '04 Production run) 4678 VIII were imported to the States. Nothing on colors .
2005 US import numbers--4191 for the Evo VIII.

This is cool. And for the people that dont beileve it just think about how many u see on the road. It would make perfect sEnce that mitsu would only make so many cars because in 03 they were very unsure if the car was even gonna sell cuz it was 35k. And kinda cheaply made on the focus points, interior, sound dentining, and sound en sterio.
