I never understood spending $150+ for a boost gauge.Got an autometer 4 dirtcheap and spent my money on an aem wideband. Not all of us have the funds to get "the good stuff" every mod. Get a functional boost gauge and another mod in addition instead of spending big dough on one defi or w/e. Not bashing Im just an evo owner on a budget. In the longrun you can upgrade your cheap boost gauge to a shinier one
Thank you!
dang i thought i was the only one on this form that thought that way...i rather save my money for my coil over
but thanks
i did find a decent used one ...
thanks !!!!

I like my Autometer, it works a treat.
What do you need to know.... have boost, don't have boost, don't have enough boost. For example; if your car is tuned to 22psi and your Autometer boost guage is reading 22psi +-.5 psi, you know everything is good.
People splash cash on gauges like Defi for the bling-bling factor.
If you're not really a bling-bling person and just want somehthing that works, go for an Autometer. If you would like a little more accuracy, spend the extra on a Stewart Warner.

I have an autometer carbon gauge and it works well, looks decent. It just doesn't match the factory gauges, but there are very few that do. the ones that match can be pricey.
