Cusco Rollcage - backseat use?

Hey guys,

I've been looking at the cusco rollcage, does anyone know if this cage still allows for backseat use? Thanks guys!

I would question the actual strength of the cage since it is all bolt together if I am not mistaken. All of the cages I have searched for that offer protection of any magnitude aren't practical enough for me. I have searched a bit, but nothing too intensive so I am sure there is a solution.

I might be wrong, but such a cage is useless for any type of racing that requires a roll cage. FYI. Meaning that is all show no go

Yes, Cusco makes roll cages to where you can still use the back seat.

The part number for the cages are:
6 point, front arch going through the dash is 564 290 B20
7 point, front arch going through the dash is 564 290 L20

6 point, front arch going around the dash is 564 270 B20
7 point, front arch going around the dash is 564 270 L20

4 point cage is 564 270 A20

Finding who sells them, I dunno, guessing you have to find a vendor who carries Cusco parts, but these are the part numbers.

Hope this helps.

You can always do a custom roll cage in hopes of retaining the use of your back seats.

I believe your only options for using the back seat is a custom cage, or a modified SW cage (which I did).

Do you have any pictures of your modified SW cage?

Here you go. We added a back hoop so that the bars from the main hoop would not go through where the rear seats were. Now they go through the rear deck near the speakers.

Yeah cusco cages are complteley useless for safety...

FWIW I used the back seats with my autopower cage in my STi, as long as the evo cage bolts to the outer portions of the rear strut tower you can squeeze the seat in.
