No problems at all.
It actually moves hot air out as you drive down the road. By removing it, it may expel a bit more at a stop, but only makes hot air swirl around your bay when you remove it at speed.

Haha I cover mine with some aluminum foil if I'm at home, n its not in the garage.. only because my engine bay is always clean and I hate gettin the water spots off

Hmm maybe but I've never seen any comp/race evos running with a heat shield/fins

i moved to southern MS about 7 months ago and it practically rains everyday.. never had a problem and i powerwash my engine bay all the time....

yes, and if water damaged your engine then how would you wash your car??? so yea, water shouldn't give you that much of an issue
