Seems like new drivers always pile up their first car. So, pick something with lots of air bags and a good crash rating. When you've learned how fragile life can be, then consider an Evo.

I dont want to sound all philosophical and all, but, i bought my car the same way you did. Not at a16, but, 19, and trust me, it has its terrible side. If you seriously feel like a responsible adult, what people say ultimately shouldn't matter, but, i would say 16 is a bit too young. I'm 20 now, with a very clean record, and insurance can still be a betch.

I wouldn't suggest it, especially since a 16 year old in a sporty car, at least where im from, results in cops pulling you over every 5 seconds questioning you. Believe me, i know. My record is 4x in a day
