Welcome to 2004. Replicas are a cancerous disease to the auto parts industry and there really isn't much to be done. Except for the fact that we as consumers can buy genuine and support the real people who care about cars.

Holy wow. I don't even know what to say to you about the 08 comment T_T. They are fakes. Only tees has the rights to distribute their products to licensed vendors. That man is not a vendor.

If it is a fake, but it is so good that nobody can tell, what makes it any different than the real thing? (besides the cost).

Behold the power of branding, where even if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck... it's a cow! Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go polish my counterfeit Louis Vuitton shoes.

Yeah FIA certification is just a big lie, all seats are actually made equal. Buy knockoffs and go racing, I'm sure you're willing to trust a generic brand with your life rather than a company that actually has testing.

But that would be a quantifiable difference. See where I said "nobody can tell"? Granted, you may not be able to tell until you are dead....

My reply was a bit tongue in cheek, FYI
