Evo : Car theft prevention ????

Hi There

I have an Evo 6 and from Ausie and its seems evo's are always been target in thefts even with alarms sytems and imobilises installed. Seems they short the alarm and 'gone is the car'

My question is :
Is there something or some fuse or something that i can easily pull out so that it prevents the car from starting/been stolen when im parked in dodgy areas??

Cheers

i always thought a racing steering wheel is a great anti theft device, they aint taking **** without a steering wheel. Unless they just tow it or something.

It's all about your parking location. If they really want your car, they will tow it. When someone is in uniform, the public will not question the towers actions 99.99% of the time.

i would do a hidden kill switch, removable steering wheel and a club for the brake and clutch pedal and obviously an alarm...and the only thing that can take that is a tow truck

Park it in a garage or try to make it such a pain to steal that maybe the car thief will just walk away.

But you can always buy boots for the wheels, there a little pricey but no one will steal your car.

Sell it! Then you have nothing to worry about! When I used to have an Integra GSR I would take the ECU fuse out from under my hood when I parked in shady "dodgy" areas, I also had an alarm. I can tell you the alarm doesnt do a damn thing but the fuse being pulled saved my car from being stolen once.
