Yet Another Magazine Review of the Evo
Automobile Magazine (edit) has a $30K Mega Test of 4-door sedans in the October issue. All cars must be under $30K so the WRX makes it, but not the WRX STI. One of the evaluators calls the Evo the most fun that he's ever had in a car.
Here are the rankings:
1) Acura TSX
2) 325i
3) G35
4) Evo
5) Mazda 6 S
6) WRX
7) IS 300
8) A4 1.8 T
9) Saab 9-3
10) C230K Sport
11) Grand Prix GTP Comp G
12) Maxima SE
Their Evo did 0-60 in 5.6, 0-100 in 14.7 and the quarter in 14.1 @ 98 mph. Seems kinda slow to me. I think the Evo is probably ranked correctly since most people would trade a little performance for more luxury. Not me!

TSX interior is really quite impressive. Cant get a better deal for that kind of money.. $24k w/o nav and $28k with nav if i remember correctly. Again we're talking about the general public who may not appreiate a 13:1 steering.

Yeah the TSX in 1st???? From all other reviews of that car, it received OK reviews. Looking at most of the lux cars on the list, I wouldn't be surprised the drivers complaining about EVO's stiff ride, cheap interior, etc.

At the risk of being obnoxious, that test seems like a load to me, the majority of magazines rank the G35 ahead of the much nicer more powerful 330 so behing the gutless 325 makes no sense.
Also seems weird how much better all of those torque steering wrong wheel drive cars did, Im sure the interior of the TSX is nice infact i sat in one at the auto show and dont remeber it so it cant be that great so to put it ahead of the 1.8t or the benz seems like a stretch unless im missing something especially for FWD
