bc that is a huge sum of money to spend in one sitting....seriously think about, the smart thing to do would be set aside half to save and then maybe use a little of whats left to do some modding.

i was dumb and spent a good chunk of money on my rsx a few years ago and now Im wishing i had the money. yeah for a few months the extra whp will get you off, but in the end its not worth it to spend a full 6k on a cars mods

I have no complaints with the SMC kit. I have run it both times in both my evos with no problems. I'm getting rid of that as my car is going in for a rebuild and it's only going to be driven on race gas. No need for it anymore.

also invest in some guages like boost and wideband

fp red or bigger turbo
all supporting mods

make the motor strong before making power. you will thank yourself in the long run

if you dont wanna make the motor strong, better save that money so you can fix that car when something goes. fp red+meth+high boost+stock head and block= lots of time and money spent getting all the metal out of motor

i have a car i'm waiting for to sell and i'll be getting around 6k$....i think i'll just save the money incase something bad happens....it's nice having a cushion of money for emergencies

My quest for 400whp is close to reality, but there are many comprimises, you can look at my mods list and I have almost your spending limit on that and I am hitting 340whp. I have hit over 400hp on Race gas, but I dont run race gas every day. So Email me at Eppenger@gmail.com and we can meet up and talk about it. Im on my 3rd Evo, so I know a little bit, haha........

what do you think??? how much power i can get with 91 gas???


when i have the FPRED im going to back to retune with 91 gas/meth, and race gas!!!
