Mod Reliability Question

Including a tune, I'm planning to have the following mods:

Apexi Power Intake
SAMCO Intake Pipe
Sun Auto Hyperforce
ETS LICP
Walbro 255 LPH
RC 1000cc Injectors (Getting ready for E85 when the stations open up here)
Titek V2 02 Housing (Maybe)
Titek 3" Downpipe
RRE Rally Cat (Resonated Testpipe)
Agency Power TI Catback

I know most of these are bolt-ons which shouldn't hurt the reliability, but I'm unsure of how reliable injectors and a fuel pump are. Would these mods still have the reliability of a daily driver? Thanks in advance EvoM.

Shouldn't have to worry about fuel pump going bad. Just make sure you get a good tune and you should be set.

not if you are using ECU flash and road tuning you are correct, but I posted with the intentions of going to someone like 4WS, Mellon, and the like, and if he wants a dyno tune I really have not seen anyone in my area offer time for lower than 80 an hour. so yes spend some money and get a good tune he will at least need the following (air fuel meter, tactrix cable, laptop for data recording, and then the tune road or dyno)

definitely recommend an O2 housing, I went with Works Motorsports, so that I can be 3" all the way back, O2 housings can cause problems if not properly tuned, so ask your tuner

might consider a bored throttle body, with high pressure seals as you will probably be turning up the boost. again I got mine from Works

also consider wideband O2 and EGT gauges

yes research the tuner, off the top of my head in Cali, Works, Road Race Engineering, the names of the shops in Haywood and Pasedena escape me, and Tuning Technologies

search evom and socalevo for tuners

the tune is likely the biggest part factor in the reliability equation

Well I'm not worried about the tune really because the bay area has some great tuners. They'll take care of me.

Not really a topic change, but I'm hearing that 02 housing can cause boost creep. Is this something to be worried about?

Evo are really reliable cars. I have an 05 MR with 82k miles making 450awhp on the daily. Runs and drives great. Even my infamous 6 speed is holding out great. :-).

P.S. The o2 housing will be fine

Your good. I have most of the simple bolt-on mods plus I have cams. I wouldn't hesitate to drive the car across the country.
