E brake adj. for EVO VIII???

E brake adj. for EVO VIII???

hey guys I have always noticed a little slack on my e-brake. Where do you adjust the slack???? I pulled off the arm rest thinking it was there but no dice!

Any suggestions people????

its there. pull out that console and look. there is an adjustment nut.

There is a 10 mm nut that you turn. Do this a little at a time though. Tighten pull the brake, tighten pull it again.

It should click no more than 5 to 6 times when done. Any less and your brake pads could drag, less and you might not pull it enough and they might not engage fully.

you can adjust them at the rear hub too

i agree, the adjustment is there under the arm rest. perhaps located on the ebrake itself iirc.

okay thanks guys,

I'll pull out the center arm rest and look for that adj. nut.
