I think that the morale of the story is that you shouldn't spend $200 on a Marc Echo watch...

pay out of pocket for sure, I have had cars broken in to that had good alarms, just dont leave anything of value is the best advice.

hey guys should I get an OEM replacement at the dealership or should I just go to a place that sells auto-glass? same thing?

go to a place where they can get you a glass window because the dealership will rape you.

QFT!!!!

I had to replace the windshield on the Evo I recently bought. The dealership quoted me like $700 for just the glass. That's not installed or with the trim or anything.

I went local and got the entire thing installed with trim for a total of $180.

cheaper to fix it yourself, otherwise with that deductible and your insurance rising because of it, just fix it and don't report it. a police report would be good though.

Sorry to hear about the breakin. Mine got broken into in Columbus, OH. Got replacement glass from Buschur's for 150 IIRC. I hear the dealership price is 260 or so... that's not that bad and the convenience might be worth it.
