Keyless entry ?

Keyless entry ?
My IX MR did not come with a keyless entry remote (what B.S.), anyways, a friend of mine has one from his Evo that is not used because he went aftermarket (alarm). Is there a way of taking his and reprogramming it to mine? I did this once with my old IS300 but not sure if remotes/computers are same in Evo. Any help appreciated.
