Finally time to start modding :D

So I finally have my Evo paid off and a daily driver back in place. My warranty has about 4k miles left so i figured now is a good time to start the modification process.

I definitely don't want to get crazy, I am shooting for ~350 Crank HP. Also, i would like to keep the costs down. Here is what I am thinking:

Muffler delete "axle back" exhaust (15-20HP?):
http://www.worksevo.com/store/produc...products_id=51
This is a bit pricey for a pipe, i am working with some other vendors to find a less expensive one.

K&N High flow air filter (5-10HP?)

AMS Intercooler (20HP):
http://www.amsperformance.com/store/...roducts_id=172
Also a bit pricey but sounds like the best bang for the buck. Increases airflow by 80%. Plus having the "AMS" Logo in front is just cool.

Flash? Is this necessary with these mods and how much HP will I get out of this?

Evo9 BOV:
http://www.roadraceengineering.com/evo.htm

So I think that puts me at around $1400 for 350HP? Lemmie know your thoughts. I will also be putting on a Beatrush undertray and polishing everything up with Mother's

350 was a high guesstimate. Maybe more like 320-330? Also, what will my turbo spool at with the increase in flow?

You're forgetting Manual boost controller and tune.

Manual boost controller, set it at 21-22 psi, intake, exhaust, IC pipes, intercooler and a tune.. should be reallly close to 350 CRANK power..

yes i forgot you emphasis on crank, makes it a bit more reasonable. and yeah spool will improve with the ic piping, mostly lower if you cant get both. but i hope that was given if you were planning on the AMS ic

i believe it would but it would be dumb to not get the ic piping to go along with it, it will help flow greatly. not to mention you'd already have everything apart
