It's not about fitment issues with the rexpeed compared to the OEM.

The fin's aren't the same as OEM therefor not being the same mold. If you don't have a wing on your car, the VG serves no purpose other then esthetics.

The OEM has been proven to serve a purpose with a wing which is why the blades are designed in the direction they are in. If you look at both the OEM and rexpeed you'll notice the rexpeed fin's are more pointed in different directions.

But nothing wrong with the rexpeed, just answering the OP's question.

NOT ONE person has been able to prove this yet. You're only the second person I have heard this from. Rexpeed claims they made an exact mold off of the OEM. That means it should be exact. It makes no sense for Rexpeed to NOT make a mold off of OEM as they claim. It would cost more money for R&D and verification of fitment. I don't buy that they aren't the same. Someone please post pics or something. Why is it so hard to get the two side by side?

If you really want to get technical the OEM part is also a copy.. of the original. So a copy is a copy.. Your never gonna get the prototype piece, so why stress which copy you really get.

Here is the rexpeed VG:

Here is a pic of the OEM VG:

This isn't the exact photo of the OEM we are looking for but looking at these two pictures now I'm second guessing myself. I can't really tell to be honest with you.

Are you sponsored by rexpeed? Why does it bother you so much? Obviously you have the rexpeed. If you are happy with it, why stress it?

I just want to know if they are the same. What I said before is what I've been told, and now I'd like to know if there is any difference. I have rexpeed amber side markers on my car. I know they are not OEM, I don't care... they look better.

But don't get your panties in a bunch if someone disagrees with you. I prefer OEM products over knock off's. That's just me. But if the knock off serves the same purpose and is identical then kudos to the knock off.

I bought a J's aero Vortex Generator to see how it compares to the OEM. I am going to buy a rexpeed right now and I will have an OEM one within a week. I will place them all in a line and it will solve everything.

Sorry for triple post.

LOL it bothers me cause I don't want to waste my money. If the rexpeed isn't the same then i want to know so I don't buy it. I'm not in the market for looks. If it doesn't do anything then I want to know if I should fork over the extra $200 for the real deal.

I don't think it's wrong of me to want to know the truth

Rexpeed will be here in 2 weeks. I'm looking at the J's aero VG and all the fins are in the same direction unlike the rexpeed. Now all's I need to see is an OEM in person again and we will have our answer.

So either the J's aero is a complete replica of the OEM or the Rexpeed is.
