interesting reading through many of these posts some made me LOL, IMHO rexpeed has perfect fitment on all their products so why waste money on something so similar when fitment is the same quality, I bought it not quite for the fuctional benefit but for s-t-y-l-e heh but really are you going to feel a difference down the road uh... who cares.. save the extra bucks for that fp turbo or volks you always wanted

Slightly off topic but I never got that metal piece when I ordered the Rexpeed VG.. So I just put it on without it, is that ok?
I'd take it off but for fear of stripping the paint off the car I'll just leave it

+1. I already bought my rexpeed, but I'd still want to know. I really can't see rexpeed lying about copying a product and the measurements being off. Maybe I should take my vg and match it up to an OEM before I put it on my car. I just need to find one in the portland area that has one.

china makes great replicas of designer suits and fake rolex watches (rolex dealers say you cant even tell its fake unless you take it apart) so you can copy exactly an OEM mold I would think.
I truely believe no matter what its more for looks to be honest because a wopping 1-2% increase in areodynamics performance is not much an edge for a short race. Anything from tire pressure to how much you eat will basically be 1% anyways. In F1 racing where it last a whole long time like hrs that 2% will do more justice since its and edge for such a long time. But something like a 3 minute SCCA rallycross race it will do basically nothing.
