400whp
hi all,
I have an Evo IX se and i would like to get some more power out of the car. i'm shooting for 400whp. I researched and found that 35R turbo upgrade would definately put me in that range along with supporting mods. Please give me some ideas of the parts that you would recommend getting to achieve this goal. I do not want to acomplish this by cutting corners, and then regret it when the engine blows or anything of that sort. Whatever is necessary for a safe tune, i'll buy it. There is so many choices out there, i just wanted to ask you guys for your input/ideas for this process to achieve this goal. keep in mind, this will be a DD car.
Thank you

You definitely didn't do any research. A 35r is overkill for a dd 400 whp setup. Go back and look up the green or red series turbos. 400 whp range, similar spool characteristics, and are great for a dd.

So with stock turbo i can achieve 400whp? I do not want meth injection on my car though. isn't that pushing the stock turbo to its limits at that hp level?
i was thinking around $4000 for this project? is this a legit assumption?
