anyone claim "Lancer" instead of "Lancer Evo" on insurance?

the reason this happens, is because of Mitsu..they have to release the info to insurance companys...sometims they are a little slow about it, one of my old college roomates is an insurance agent for ERIE insurance group, and they still didn't get the info on the EVO yet, I asked him about it, and he said that mitsu has to release info to them, so they have it in there computer system...we took a VIN from an EVO, and pluged it into there system, and all that came up was that it was a Mitsu, but nothing else, it didn't even say it was a lancer.

Chopdaddy: get another beater.. My insurance company gives me 15% rebate on each car.. That's always good to have for the days the real car is getting some upgrades done and a part is missing...
You just make sure you get minimum coverage for that beater...
If it's not in a good shape, leave it on blocks to make sure nobody actually uses it..
Bad new is, you still have to pay the yearly fee for the license plate.. Do some calculation, it might still be worth it.
