factory boost gauge 25 psi and over?

alright, what happens to the factory boost gauge if running 25 psi or more? It is rated to 1.5 bar. Boom?

Dood don't do it. You will blast back to 1985!!!!!

Really though, nothing should happen as long as you are tuned and have the correct supporting mods. Please tell me you are at least using 93 octane

Great. I am in the process of tuning and is still in the 18-20 psi range running 93. Going to 25 hopefully soon though. I didn't want to get rid of factory gauge. Thanks!

^yes the AEM UEGO Wideband gauge is a very good gauge to have but thats for wideband, not boost. And yes the factory boost gauge will swing past 1.5 if boosting more than 22 or whatever it is. BTW, the factory gauge is not BAR. I thought it was too until someone on the forum pointed it out to me that it is in fact kg/cm2 or something like that.

isn't the boost gauge in the mr located at the lower section of the dash, the center, cuz tht seems like a waste. i like it better when you have the mount to place it in the centr of the steering comlum, easier to see.

probably 25 psi. I was tuned for 23psi and my needle probably goes to 1.6 kg/cm^3, not bar!

It was offered as a dealer upgrade in some places as well. My '03 has the Mitsu 3-gauge set.
