I have simple bolt ons (intercooler, piping, tbe) and my miles are well under factory warranty. My sunroof stopped working correctly. Would the Mitsu dealership fix it? My reasoning is my mods are totally engine mechanical and have NOTHING to do with the sunroof.

I bet if your rear view mirror came off your windshield they would point the finger at you for hanging an air freshener there!

I to thought I would mod my car as to not void the warrenty, then I was bit by the mod bug and said screw it. Though I do have a mod friendly dealership near me and they have done work on my car, I no longer worry about it. It's a car. **** breaks, if you can't afford to fix it when that happens you can't afford the car period. Just like if you can't afford the gas to go fast.

It's pay to play bro, so step up your game it get in on it.

you know how if you walk outside with new shoes you cant return them. thats like how the warranty of mitsubishi cars are. once you drive outside you void your warranty.

Comon now do you think mitsu will be that easy to agree to that? They will say that your added power caused the sunroof to blow out.

everything has already been said that can be.

FIRST THING:check with the dealerships for A. if they're mod friendly and B.what mods you can do.
keep it simple(bolt ons, injectors, tuning)
save stock parts just in case

nice sunroof joke, but this guy obviously doesn't understand. I went in with lots of mods and had window regulators and brembos warrantied. EVERYTHING DEPENDS ON THE DEALERSHIP

Start with the Driver mod, you would be surprised how much quicker you can be by improving driving skills and techniques.

I dunno but from every mitsubishi dealer I've dealt with here in MD, any and every mod will void your car. YOU are your warranty because Mitsubishi is a sh*t company and won't cover hardly anything. Which is why this is my last one ever.

Sorry just letting off some steam.

What?!?!?

First off you need to do ALOT of research before you do anything IMO, this statement is totally wrong I have a ton of crap done to my MR. Now the warranty is another issue that has way to many variables.

I went to the dealer today to have them warranty the extra piece (forget what its called) on my spoiler for the paint chipping on it and they want to give it to their body shop to have them put touch up paint on it..... complete f'in joke, I basically am going to fight my @ss off to get them to order me a new one.
