Keeping Stuff Secure In Your Trunk?

I tried finding if this has been posted before, but had no success.

Anyways, I know all you EVO guys, like me, keep tools/toolcase in their cars for emergencies. How do you secure them in your trunk so that it dosen't bounce around when you drive "spirited".

Pictures would help! Right now I'm just messing with some cheap Velcro. I took out the carpet and used the velcro right on the wooded thing that goes above the spare tire.

Thoughts, comments?

If you take out your carpet you can use rachet straps and bungees. I have everything tied down. RSFTW

I'm not near my car, but there is not much to see. Tool box, rachet strap, skateboard, bungee. I have the cargo net for little stuff.

Where did you hook the ratchet straps to?

One end is hooked by the washer fluid tank and one end is hooked to the diagonal beam on the back of the back seat, tool box is wedged in the corner.
I can post pics tomorrow

I want to know what people are doing too, I wish it was like the trunk of a GTI, my boy has one and has these cool things that velcro to the floor and keep things right in place.

Picture please! I'm trying to hold my small sub (10") in place, and even with ZIPTIES, they pop and the sub goes flying into the back of my trunk around hard corners.

Really annoying me, not to mention it gave a nice crack to my sub.

Target FTW. They sells a huge array of Case Logic items that are great for organizing your trunk. I attached one of them to the inside rear trunk wall, using some of the studs there, hidden under the trunk liner attachment points.

Put the sub in a Honda and drive the Evo! LOL Just playing. I have a lot of stuff in my trunk too. I just used an adjustable curtain rod from side to side to hold my stuff in place. At car shows I just take the rod out.
