Price for Shell????

Im contemplating on parting out my car and selling it as a shell.. It doesnt even have 34000 miles and is a 03 GSR.. very clean inside and outside no crashes or anything just the brake calipers that are faded.... What do you think it could go for?? Looking for ideas and whether it is worth it or not to part out and sell that way...
Any input is appreciated
Thanks

There was another white one on here for sale a while back (in Florida I believe) going for around 1-2 g's....but it really depends on what comes with the shell. This one was totally stripped to bare metal. It makes a difference if it comes with a suspension, subframes, ecu, wiring harness, lights, interior, etc.

yea im talking about a full shell everything just no motor/trans/turbo intercooler etc.. the car has everything though.. not like that one, I did see that one..
The car is complete with everything except whats under the hood.. mine is full interior and everything very clean inside and outside.. just normal driving marks..

You might be looking at 8000-12,000 dollars without the powertrain, depending on how good the body is.

Does it come with a clear title? I would think that would make a difference.

clean and clear title no accidents.. the reason i say is because i have such a big build and its not selling that way with the economy the way it is.. so i figure parting it out and selling as a clean title shell no accidents or anything it will sell faster..

Like you just said since the economy is so bad you probably have a hard time even selling your "big build". Ive seen 03 evos sell for around 13,000-15,000 here in maryland that run but they have a lot of miles. I hate to say it but you either have to wait it out or take the loss. Remember buying a car and modding it is not a investment.

A "clean low mileage" and "no powertrain" don't belong in the same sentence. If you expect somebody to pay 10G's for your chassis, 3 grand for a motor, 1.5 grand for a tx case, and the time/money to put it all back together AFTER they have to arrange the tow to their garage your crazy. Coming from someone who would look for a shell I wouldn't pay that much. Sell it as whole or don't sell it. I'd offer you about 4500 tops for a clean shell. By the time I add in my time to chase down parts, pay for them, and install them, I still would take a loss on it.
