evo reliability?

If you change your fluids on time, then the car will be good to you. I have over 22,000 miles, and not a single issue.
On the other hand, the last two Honda/ Acuras I've owned gave me tons of problems. Go figure!

To be totally honest with you I have seen just as many if not more problems with IX's than I have the 03-04 VIII's.

i owned a b5 s4. great car to drive but expensive to maintain. it seemed like every month there was something wrong. my evo has 74k on it and has been great. the only real issue i had was the acd pump failing but i was able to get a used on installed.

I came from the VW world with various Jettas and lastly a GLI 1.8T. The Evo has been the most reliable car Ive have ever owned and goes like clockwork. Minus 10 degrees outside? No problem, starts and goes every time now at 48,000 miles.

I have an '03 I bought new. The battery had to be replaced and I had to replace the plastic levers on the heater box so I could move the knob. Thats it. The OEM clutch now has 54,000 miles on it. The '03 is the best car I have ever owned.
