MAPerformance

Does anyone have experience with Modern Automotive Performance (MN) as installers/tuners? They seem to be a great vendor but I'm just wondering about putting the parts in and getting a good tune. Sent them an email for a quote a while back and no response yet.

Thank you for the kind words, hopefully some of our local customers can chime in here with some feedback for you in regards to installation and tuning. In regards to your email can I ask where it was sent to? Would you mind sending a copy to chris@maperformance.com and I would be happy to look into it for you.

Thanks!

Chris Carey

Cool. Glad everything is straightened out.

I've done my installs up to this point and they didn't have an AWD Dyno up until the beginning of summer so my car was tuned elsewhere. I've only ordered parts from them and they've been great to work with. I've seen some of their projects, (4G63FD) and their work looks great!

MAP is local to me, and they always give me great deals and awesome customer service when ordering parts. We've used their dyno facilities for a dyno day, and it went smoothly. I haven't used them for tuning or parts installation, so I cannot speak to that. People that I know that have had parts installed generally seem happy, never any complaints.

10 hours is a long ways though. You may consider installing a wideband in your car and doing some tuning yourself?

Good luck! You can't go wrong with these guys.

Well if you come down when it's warm let us know maybe we'll be having a meet around that time.

Great guys at MAP! I've bought a ton of stuff from them and they did plenty of work on my DSM, some work on my S2000, and a clutch/flywheel job on my Evo IX. If you drive down shoot me a PM and we'll get a mini-meet setup so you can hang out with some other Evo guys while you're here.
