Thanks for the responses guys. I am looking in to getting the APR wind splitter... I was already thinking about getting a lip so this would help with both of those.

Does any one have a picture or two they can show me of an IX with the APR wind splitter installed?

Thanks!

I would go with the Beatrush underpanel. I had it on my EVO. It was much easier to work with than the crappy stock undertray.

I took mine off. $6,000 mistake. If I could, I'd put two on.

What happened?

Mine is off right now, no problems so far. But I think aerodynamically, an undertray would be good. I'm thinking about putting my stock one back on because I dont want the underside of my engine bay to get really dirty.

I definitely would keep this on. I was unfortunate to run over a 16wheeler's flat tire on 95 south (Maryland) It was dark outside and the tire was wide side up. I wasn't able to get out of the way quick enough and ended up running right over it. It only took the undertray and lip off my car...easily replaced. And I did replace it. What could of been if I didn't have that undertray on is beyond me. Certainly wouldn't have been good and worse.

have the apr splitter. so much easier: two rear bolts that support the rear splitter, and then take the front bumper off. can still do an oil change with it on too

EDIT: found one more

I have a friend who is trading his car in. Sent him my stock underpanel trading for his Beatbrush. I will also be helping him pay someone to install the stock one. I think it is worth it. Moral of the story keep your underpanel.

Thanks for the pictures! It look awesome!

But, with the APR splitter on now you have to take the whole front bumber off? That seems like even more of a nightmare...

Cool deal man. Your friend should just re-install his stock one his self and save you some money. It should only take about 15 minutes or so as long as he has all of his stock parts.

Bumper is only 4 bolts, 4 plastic clips, and then the two support bolts for the splitter underneath the car. it comes off all in one piece, totally worth it to not have to take off all the plastic stuff to me atleast

I would say keep it. I made the mistake of selling mine. although they are other alternatives to keep in mind.

Like this
http://www.corsportusa.com/store/cat...roducts_id=360

then again you get to the same fact that you have to remove it to do anything.
The car is more stable with the undertray at high speeds.
