How many Modded EVOs out there that get parted and sold as stock and have been abused like crazy or put back to stock like crap.
Me personally, at least when you buy and EVO that has been modded and you know the real history of the car you know what you're getting into. And often times the seller will tell you how the car has been driven and if anything is wrong with the car. If you buy and EVO that makes 500whp and has a stock clutch, chances are it's likely ready to go. Buy the same car from a dealer stock and you have no idea that the clutch is ready to go.
It's all relative too. What you want for the car and if you're willing to wait it out for the right buyer.

Take your NADA/ Kelly Blue Book and tack on like 5k for mods. I have 25k+ in mods ALONE, and I have a WW IX. I would not expect more than $32k mine. You look like yours is lightly modded, you could probably get Blue Book for it or a little over. We never get back what we put into them, that's all part of the game, LOL.

I read an article a few years ago in one of the import mags..I think it was modified mag..It stated that if you are modding a car to make it worth more, youre not doing yourself any favors..That on average to expect 10-15% of the overall cost back for modifications..I thought it was low,but thats what it said..I hope that you dont have to get rid of it..Sounds like a nice car..Good luck either way..Justin

part out - put it to stock - and sell the parts. unless getting zero for your mods is worth more to you than the time to part out. At least you can recoup some of the cost of parts by selling.
In the end if you got enjoyment out of it, isn't that what you were investing in in the first place...happines??
