yeah i wanted the RRE rally cat but couldn't justify spending 200 something dollars for it. I'm happy with my hfc now looks somewhat like a cat and doesnt smell bad at all.

If you're smelling it in cabin, you might have a leak in the exhaust somewhere. The smell is bad - but I've never smelled it unless standing behind the car while running.
It should be tuned well though. Honestly mine doesn't make that much stink on the street - I've never gotten any comments, looks, driven in front of cops, etc.
I have smelled other cars that just seem to pour it out though

One thing about the test pipe though is you're going to throw a code unless you have a fix... Which I have an extra... 10 dollars shipped lol let me know

I believe this is only true in a few states. Altering or removing your factory cat becomes illegal (in many states) when the content of noxious emissions and decibel level exceeds original or state established specs.
